The sun setting through the horizon signifies that dark would now conquer the skies and surroundings. But thank the moon for its divine glow, not only does it shed light for us through the night, but it gives way for us to notice those little sparkling things which twinkles in the heavenly skies.
I wonder how those little things got there in the first place. How come we never get to touch one? Why do they only show off their seemingly magical glow only at night? Stars as we call them, how do different people see it? Why do they have special meanings to some?
In movies, I noticed that whenever a kid wishes, its always to the star they address their longings. And after a certain amount of time they get what they wished for. Remember the song that goes like:
when you wish upon a star, all your wishes come true.? It was in this Disney movie, I just forgot. So, I ask, do stars have magical powers?
After a great party in mid-August, I came across this very intriguing person, whom I perceived was very appreciative towards those tiny glittery things in the night skies. He enlightened me about how these stars can take away stress in a days work. This young lad showed me that these little things may represent something for a persons point of view. But in his opinion, he saw it as his problems. Why problems, you may also wonder. I have problems. Each day I solve one or a few. But still, everyday I encounter a new one or two. Just like stars, each night some gets lost, therefore it dies. But it is every night a new star or two is born, as well, he explained.
As for other people, they see stars as a sign of hope. How and why? They arrived at the same answer, You may not see those (stars) during daylight, but you know they are there. And when night time falls, thats when we totally understand that these stars are always within our sight all along. So we hope for the better. We never let go of the very last strand of chance, because even we may fail, we would still find a very satisfying outcome in the end.
Coming to date is the much awaited event, Christmas. If you havent noticed, an emblem that is used is the star. Why, you ask. This goes way back to history of Christs birth where the three kings trusted the star and followed it to Jesus birthplace. Thus, this may imply that stars can be magical in way that it can lead us into what we must see: the Truth.
I guess whatever people may perceive about the stars, let them be. It just proves that stars have been very meaningful for most people. They must have been experienced in ways that they associated stars with their lives.
